Salary: $21.00/hr- Weekly Pay

Cook Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and portion ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping and slicing vegetables, fruits and other ingredients as required.
  • Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes and chef instructions.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the prep area, including cleaning and sanitizing work surfaces, equipment, and utensils.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries, ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients.
  • Follow food and safety sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment.
  • Support the kitchen team in preparing and plating dishes during service.
  • Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies to the kitchen manager.
  • Assist with additional kitchen tasks as needed, including dish washing and equipment maintenance.
  • Handle food prep and station setup efficiently for breakfast or dinner service.
  • Work collaboratively in a team-driven, upbeat kitchen culture.
  • Uphold company standards of professionalism, service, and guest satisfaction.

Cook Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a cook or in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant preferred.
  • Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and food preparation methods.
  • Professional presentation, high energy, and enthusiastic.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
  • Understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
