The Opportunity

We're looking for a Sr. Developer / Tech Lead to join our team and lead the technical implementation of client projects. This is a contract position (3 months) with a clear path to a full-time role for the right person.

You'll work directly with leadership, have significant ownership over technical decisions, and help shape how we deliver software solutions for clients across multiple industries. This is a high-impact role for someone ready to lead.

What You'll Do

Design and implement software systems and architecture for client projects

Make technology and framework decisions based on project requirements

Lead development efforts and coordinate with stakeholders

Write clean, maintainable, production-ready code

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues

Collaborate with clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions

Mentor team members as the team grows

What We're Looking For

5+ years of professional software development experience

Strong proficiency in Python, PHP, and/or JavaScript

Experience with frameworks such as Django, Laravel, React, or Vue

Solid understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices

Experience with database design and RESTful APIs

Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables

Strong communication skills—you'll be working directly with clients

Nice to Have

Experience in Agriculture, Oil & Gas, or Construction industries

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Experience with containerization (Docker) and CI/CD pipelines

Previous consulting or client-facing experience

Location: Remote or Hybrid (Calgary, AB)

Type: Contract (3 months), with opportunity to convert to full-time

Compensation: Competitive hourly rate, commensurate with experience
