Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile to join our construction and manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various trades, including carpentry, masonry, electrical, plumbing, and general construction. This role involves working on diverse projects such as restoration, siding, roofing, tile laying, cabinetry installation, and more. The will be responsible for executing detailed tasks with precision, utilizing a wide range of hand tools and power tools, and interpreting schematics and blueprints to ensure project accuracy. This position offers an opportunity to apply your technical expertise in a dynamic environment that values craftsmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute project plans.
• Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, masonry work, roofing, siding, and tile laying as required.
• Install cabinetry, flooring, and perform construction painting to meet project specifications.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for assembly, carpentry, woodworking, plumbing, electrical work, and general construction tasks.
• Conduct restoration projects including caulking, heavy lifting, siding installation, and other repair or renovation activities.
• Assist with construction estimating by providing accurate assessments of materials and labor needs.
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe work environment on-site.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction-related roles such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or general maintenance person work.
• Knowledge of blueprint reading and schematics is essential.
• Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in construction and manufacturing settings.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with construction projects.
• Familiarity with concrete forming, rebar installation, siding installation, tile laying, flooring installation, cabinetry installation, plumbing, electrical work, and restoration is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of construction estimating processes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in executing complex tasks accurately.
• Valid experience in working safely around construction sites with adherence to safety standards.
• Prior woodworking or woodworking-related skills are advantageous.
