Role Overview

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Private Equity Analyst based in Dallas, TX. You will support all phases of the investment lifecycle in the seniors housing and healthcare sectors, including sourcing support, underwriting, due diligence, transaction execution, and portfolio monitoring.

You'll work closely with senior team members across acquisitions, asset management, and operations, with meaningful exposure to investment committees, lenders, and operating partners.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed financial models for acquisitions, developments, and recapitalizations.
  • Analyze historical and projected financial statements, operating metrics, and capital structures.
  • Conduct market research on seniors housing and healthcare trends, demographics, supply/demand, and competitive sets.
  • Assist in preparing investment memoranda, presentations, and supporting materials for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support and coordinate due diligence processes, including third-party reports, legal review, and lender/investor requests.
  • Track and analyze portfolio property performance versus underwriting and budgets; identify value creation opportunities and risks.
  • Prepare recurring reporting and analysis for lenders and investors as needed.
  • Participate in site visits and meetings with operating partners and property-level management teams.
  • Assist with special projects, including fundraising materials, strategy analyses, and ad hoc financial and operational projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Real Estate, or a related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, real estate finance, consulting, or corporate development.
  • Strong financial modeling skills, including proficiency in Excel.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements, operating data, and capital structures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; comfortable preparing memos and presenting analysis.
  • Highly organized and able to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, on-site team environment.
