The Professional Development and Credentialing Coordinatoris accountable for supporting the ongoing professional growth of Early Steps (ES) subcontracted providers, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills and credentials to effectively support young client children and their families. The incumbent coordinates ES-related professional development opportunities, track provider credentials and ensures compliance with FL-EPIC requirements. Overall, the Professional Development and Credentialing Coordinatorcontributes to CHS's strategic objective of reimagining what HOME means by creating spaces where every child and family is supported and has access to the opportunities they need to pursue their dreams.

Primary Job Functions
1. Support the ongoing professional growth of ES providers, while ensuring compliance with program requirements.
Professional Development Coordination
- Assist with organizing in-person and virtual training sessions to enhance providers skills and knowledge related to evidence-based home visiting, caregiver coaching and functional assessment; team-based learning and collaboration.
- Monitor completion of required training and ensure subcontracted providers are up-to-date on best practices.
- Ensure subcontracted providers have access to resources and support to improve their performance.
- Offer guidance on tools and resources for assessment and intervention.
- Provide orientation to new ES subcontracted providers regarding program and other requirements.
- Assist ES subcontracted providers who have achieved competency in FL-EPIC by submitting annual coaching videos.
- Participate in workshops and conference calls as scheduled by the program.
Credentialing & Compliance
- Track and maintain records of ES credentials, certifications and licenses in ESDS system.
- Ensure that all ES subcontracted providers meet the necessary requirements for participation in the program.
- Work with ES subcontracted providers to address any compliance issues related to training or credentialing.
- Provide guidance and support to ES subcontracted providers in navigating the development and certification process.
- Ensure all Medicaid, insurance requirements, licenses, certifications and registrations, etc. are renewed prior to expiration, with requisite updates to employment files.
- Assist the Lead Implementation Coach (LIC) in the process of quarterly quality review checklists ensuring compliance with all necessary regulations and standards.
Administrative Support
- Provide needed FL-EPIC administrative support that may include assisting in data compilation, training, phone duty, reminders, etc.
- Maintain an accurate and up-to-date provider spreadsheet, including information on availability, service area, and specialty.
- Prepare agendas, track provider attendance, and completing the monthly FL-EPIC billing spreadsheet.
- Attend job fairs to help support the expansion of our network, aligned with our organization's goals.
- Assist with duties such as setting up new providers and therapists in the electronic records system.
- Collaborate with the quality review team to ensure adherence to the established contract requirements.
- Assist in maintaining high-quality services with the Lead Implementation Coach.
- Support the Early Steps Program by uploading videos and documents to the electronic records system.
2. Contribute to a positive, engaging work environment.
- Develop a strong knowledge base and stay current on job-related issues, best practices, and trends.
- Participate actively in departmental meetings, training and education, as well as the quality process.
- Comply with CHS's code of conduct, policies, procedures and other obligations.
- Assist with training other team members and providing back-up when necessary.
- Pick up projects on the fly; perform other duties as assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications
Education, Licenses & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, early childhood, social work or related field, required
- Florida Driver's License within 30 days from hire with daily access to a reliable and insured vehicle, required.
Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with Early Steps or other early learning program in a professional capacity.
- Experience coordinating training, professional development, or credentialing programs.

- Understanding of policies, procedures and credentialing requirements specific to Early Steps.
