Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring proper presentation and adherence to food safety standards
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and assisting with food preparation when needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any guest concerns promptly
• Support guest relations by addressing inquiries, accommodating special requests, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere in both fine dining settings and lively nightclubs or food service environments

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Server or in a similar food service role within the restaurant or hospitality industry
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation, and safety regulations in the food industry
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Ability to manage time effectively in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
• Experience in fine dining settings or nightclubs is a plus, along with culinary knowledge for menu recommendations
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order calculations
• Prior experience with food preparation, bussing, hosting/host duties, or kitchen support is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to upsell menu items through friendly persuasion and sales techniques
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required in hospitality environments

Pay: $2.50 - $3.50 per hour

Expected hours: 2.5 – 3.5 per week
