Clinical Psychologist – Independent Contractor (1099)
Location: Hybrid (Remote with in-person services in Warren, MI 48093)
Position Type: Full-time or Part-time | 1099 Independent Contractor
Expected Hours: 10–25 per week
Compensation: $90,965.40 – $109,549.73 per year
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team as a 1099 independent contractor in Warren, Michigan. This hybrid role offers a flexible, autonomous work structure that combines telehealth services with opportunities for in-person client care.
The ideal candidate is committed to providing evidence-based, client-centered psychological services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults affected by trauma, PTSD, developmental disabilities, and co-occurring mental health conditions.
Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, intake assessments, and diagnostic testing
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans (CBT, trauma-informed therapies, crisis intervention, etc.)
- Provide individual and group therapy to clients across the lifespan
- Collaborate with physicians, social workers, and other multidisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant clinical documentation
- Deliver services via secure telehealth platforms to increase access to care
- Provide specialized clinical support for clients with PTSD, autism spectrum disorders, dual diagnoses, and developmental disabilities
- Complete reassessments, psychological testing, and treatment plan updates as clinically indicated
- (When applicable) Provide clinical supervision to interns or early-career clinicians
- Participate in program development, quality improvement initiatives, or research efforts
Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution
- Active, unrestricted Clinical Psychologist license in the State of Michigan
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and individuals with developmental or cognitive disabilities
- Strong background in trauma-informed care, PTSD treatment, and crisis intervention
- Advanced diagnostic and psychological assessment skills
- Familiarity with EMR systems, ICD-10, and CPT coding
- Experience in clinical, school-based, or academic settings preferred
- Comfort and proficiency with telehealth platforms
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaborative skills
- Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and inclusive clinical practice
