About the Role

Bohler's New Jersey offices are seeking a Quality Control Engineer to review and strengthen the technical integrity of civil land development projects. In this role, you'll perform QA/QC reviews across grading, utilities, and stormwater systems, ensuring constructability, compliance, and consistency. Working closely with design teams and project managers, you'll help identify potential challenges early, refine design details, and enhance the quality of deliverables that shape New Jersey's growing communities.

What You'll Do

• Perform QA/QC reviews for design plans, reports, and technical documentation.
• Evaluate constructability, safety features, and compliance with Bohler standards.
• Complete design checklists and provide clear feedback to project teams.
• Review stormwater, grading, and utility designs for technical accuracy.
• Support construction administration through plan interpretation and issue resolution.
• Partner with engineers to identify process improvements and enhance consistency.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of internal QA/QC procedures.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in land development design and permitting.
• Expertise in grading, stormwater management, and utility layout.
• Strong attention to detail and passion for design quality.
• Excellent communication skills for clear, constructive feedback.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.

Pay Transparency

Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as skills, qualifications, and experience.

The base pay range for this role is $125,000 – $175,000 per year.
