About The Role
As a District Sales Manager
with Midwest Best Block,
you are responsible for:

  • Maximizing profitable sales growth in all accounts within their assigned geography.
  • Responsible for leading a sales team to achieve results through execution of agreed to sales and marketing plans.
  • Responsible for identifying and communicating insights through appropriate field, sales, marketing and management channels.
  • Customer Support- In Store Activities
  • Maximize sales opportunities by recognizing market conditions and related opportunities within assigned geographical area.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and execute sales plans focused on achieving goals set within this plan.
  • Prospect and identify sales and margin growth opportunities.
  • Communicate insights regarding competitive activity that could influence sales plans, tactics, and regional product development.
  • Work closely with sales team and associated customer base to identify growth opportunities.
  • Ensure safe work environment for all associates and report incidents to Safety/Management in a timely fashion.
  • Effectively manage margins to meet company goals.
  • Lead professional development initiatives including managing performance, coaching and developing others.
  • Build effective teams through attracting, retaining, and developing talent to meet market needs aligned to sales growth plan.
  • Manage assigned resources effectively (people and financial).
  • Evaluate decisions and recommendations in terms of financial returns and operational efficiencies.
  • Build effective relationships internally within Best Block and sister companies.
  • Communicate all business-related issues and opportunities with management in a timely manner
  • Participate in industry related associations within assigned geographical area.

About You
The ideal candidate for this role will:
