Installation Technician – Experiential Graphics & Environmental Design

Are you hands-on, detail-oriented, and passionate about bringing branded environments and experiential graphics to life? We're seeking an Installation Technician to support the installation of commercial interior graphics, signage, and environmental branding elements. In this role, you'll work closely with project managers, production teams, and fellow installers to ensure flawless execution from site preparation through final installation.

You'll contribute to installation planning, on-site execution, equipment care, and documentation — helping deliver visual experiences that engage, inspire, and transform workspaces, retail environments, and events.

What You'll Do

• Install vinyl graphics, wall and window coverings, dimensional signage, and other visual solutions with precision, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
• Conduct pre-installation planning by reviewing scope, confirming measurements, and determining the necessary tools, equipment, and materials for each job.
• Maintain strong communication with Project Managers, the Production team, and the Installation Lead throughout the installation lifecycle, including pre-planning, execution, and post-installation updates.
• Serve as the on-site representative of Heritage, communicating professionally with clients, addressing questions, and escalating issues to the Project Manager when appropriate.
• Participate in daily safety huddles and ensure compliance with all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, equipment certifications, and manufacturer instructions.
• Inspect products and materials before installation and verify quality and accuracy upon completion, reporting deficiencies promptly.
• Capture accurate before-and-after photos and complete installation recaps, including documentation of issues, opportunities, and lost time when applicable.
• Maintain tools, hardware, and installation equipment; report repair or replacement needs; and recommend improvements that increase efficiency or reduce costs.
• Keep company vehicles, tools, and work areas organized and presentable to reinforce a professional brand image on-site.
• Use company technology—including Outlook, iPads, and basic computer tools—for communication, documentation, and reporting.
• Support continuous workflow improvement and participate in training on installation techniques, safety, communication, and teamwork.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the Production Manager or Workflow Manager, regardless of department, contributing to a collaborative and all-in-team culture.

What You'll Bring

• 1–3 years of experience installing graphics, signage, wallcoverings, or working in a wide-format printing, fabrication, or construction-related environment.
• Strong knowledge of installation techniques for vinyl, wall coverings, and signage—or willingness to train and grow quickly.
• Familiarity with common installation tools, lifts, hardware, and equipment, including safe operation and PPE requirements.
• Ability to read measurements, interpret installation drawings, and troubleshoot on-site challenges with a calm, solution-oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication skills with clients, installers, and internal teams.
• Strong organizational habits, time-management skills, and attention to detail.
• A proactive, team-focused mentality and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
• Physical ability to lift materials, climb ladders, operate lifts, and perform hands-on work in various environments.

Base Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
