Physical Therapy Regional Director

We are seeking a Physical Therapy Regional Director to lead and support multiple outpatient clinics across the Austin, Houston, and future TX markets. This is a hands-on leadership role designed for an experienced Physical Therapist who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and operational performance—while still treating patients 2–3 days per week.

The Regional Director will oversee Clinical Directors at each location, ensuring consistency in care, culture, performance metrics, and growth initiatives while serving as a clinical and leadership resource for the region. This position will qualify to annual bonuses based on regional successes.

• Provide direct patient care while modeling best-in-class clinical standards
• Maintain high outcomes, patient satisfaction, and ethical care delivery
• Serve as a clinical mentor and resource for therapists across the region

• Directly manage and coach Clinical Directors at each assigned clinic
• Drive consistency in clinical quality, productivity, and patient experience
• Partner with leadership to execute regional growth and strategic initiatives

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including:

• Productivity

• Visits per day
• Patient outcomes
• Team engagement and retention
• Identify underperforming clinics and implement improvement plans

• Recruit, onboard, and retain high-performing clinical leaders
• Support leadership development for Clinical Directors and senior clinicians
• Foster a positive, accountable, and growth-oriented culture
• Lead by example in professionalism, communication, and work ethic

• Travel regularly between Austin and Houston clinics (planned and efficient)
• Maintain strong visibility and presence across all assigned locations
• Build relationships with local providers, referral partners, and community stakeholders

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state of Texas (or eligible)
• Minimum 5+ years of outpatient experience
• Prior experience as a Clinic Director, Multi-Site Director, or Regional Leader preferred
• Proven ability to balance patient care with leadership responsibilities
• Strong understanding of clinic operations, productivity, and performance metrics
• Excellent communication, coaching, and organizational skills
• Willingness and ability to travel between Austin and Houston and future growth markets within TX
