Job Description:
We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and customer focused Certified Pharmacy Technician to work full time. In this role, you will be a key part of our pharmacy team, collaborating with our staff pharmacists to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The ideal candidate will be proficient in all pharmacy duties with a strong emphasis on excellent customer service. Responsibilities include:

• Medication and patient data entry, including prescription entry, filling, labeling, and assisting with verification processes
• Processing medication transfers
• Delivering excellent customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers
• Collaborating with pharmacists and coworkers to maintain an efficient and accurate workflow
• Supporting long term care medication packaging when needed
• Managing inventory tasks such as ordering, restocking, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment
• Handling point of sale duties
• Resolving insurance issues, assisting with prior authorization information, and troubleshooting claims
• Utilizing PioneerRx software for daily tasks (experience preferred but not required)
• Assisting with other pharmacy related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) required
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability
• Ability to multitask and work well in a fast paced, team oriented environment
• Dependable and professional attitude
• Experience in retail or long term care pharmacy is preferred
• Experience with PioneerRx is a plus
• Must be able to work until 6:30 PM during the week and rotate 9:00 to 2:00 on Saturdays
