The E-commerce Analyst plays a critical role in driving online sales growth and optimizing customer experience by analyzing data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights. This involves diving deep into analytics, sales, and ad performance data to understand what's working, what's not, and how to improve overall e-commerce performance. The ideal candidate is a data-driven individual with strong analytical skills, a passion for e-commerce, and the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Collect and analyze data from e-commerce platforms, analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Intentwise), CRM systems, and marketing automation tools.
  • Track key performance indicators, such as PPC efficiency, conversion rates, average order value, customer acquisition cost, and customer lifetime value.
  • Analyze customer behavior, including product views, add-to-cart rates, checkout abandonment, seasonality, and purchase history.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to uncover insights and opportunities for improvement.

Reporting and Visualization:

  • Create reports to visualize key metrics and communicate findings to Management.

Performance Optimization:

  • Analyze listings and ad performance to identify opportunities to improve user experience, user interface, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Conduct A/B testing and multivariate testing to optimize design, content, and functionality.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Manager to implement changes driven by data-driven insights.
  • Track campaign ROI and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide data-driven recommendations for optimizing marketing spend and targeting.

Competitive Analysis:

  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends in the e-commerce space.
  • Analyze competitor marketing strategies and product offerings.
  • Identify opportunities to gain a competitive advantage.

Inventory Management

  • Monitor inventory levels using tracking software and manage records of incoming and outgoing stock, including shipments and deliveries.
  • Develop and implement procedures to prevent inventory shortages or surpluses.
  • Analyze sales data, trends, and seasonality to forecast future inventory needs.
  • Plan and coordinate orders to ensure timely product replenishment.
  • Generate reports on stock levels, sales, and inventory turnover for management.
  • Identify and resolve supply chain and inventory process issues and inefficiencies.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Marketing Manager, provided they are within the scope of your training, capabilities, and role expectations.
  • Communicate effectively using Google Workspace and project management tools to track progress and share updates.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, statistics, business analytics, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in an e-commerce or analytics role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Google Analytics).
  • Experience with Seller Central and PPC advertising within Amazon.
  • Experience with A/B testing and listing optimization.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify).
  • Knowledge of digital marketing channels and strategies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $27.00 per hour
