Duties

• The candidate should be able to teach bollywood, Hip hop and other dance forms
• Lead dynamic after-school dance classes tailored to various age groups and skill levels, fostering enthusiasm and participation
• Implement age-appropriate choreography that encourages creativity, coordination, and self-confidence
• Maintain a safe and positive environment by managing classroom behavior and ensuring student safety at all times
• Support students' emotional well-being through encouragement and positive reinforcement
• Assist with setting up dance spaces, organizing costumes or props as needed, and cleaning up after classes

Requirements

• Proven experience working with children in educational or childcare settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, or babysitting roles
• Strong knowledge of dance techniques suitable for young learners along with classroom management skills
• Ability to engage children through energetic teaching methods while maintaining discipline and focus
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain it prior to start date to ensure student safety
• Familiarity with childhood development principles, behavior management strategies, and special education needs is highly desirable
• Experience in sports coaching, theater arts, or early childhood education will be considered an asset
• Passion for fostering a supportive environment that promotes growth in movement skills and confidence
