UCT is seeking a skilled Process Engineer II to join our innovative team in Phoenix. If you're passionate about developing and optimizing industrial processes in the semiconductor industry, this role offers technical challenge and professional growth in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Position Overview:

As a Process Engineer II, you'll develop and optimize economical industrial processes essential for modern technology products. You'll scale processes from laboratory to production, design equipment, implement control systems, and ensure environmental and safety compliance in a high-tech manufacturing setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain eRecipes, process work instructions, and SOPs for production
  • Design, evaluate, and maintain production tooling and equipment (fixtures, baskets, tanks, pumps, heaters)
  • Monitor production processes using SPC (Statistical Process Control) and ensure CPK compliance
  • Maintain process controls (pressures, temperatures, concentrations) within specification limits
  • Supervise monthly qualification cleanliness testing and parameter process controls
  • Participate in customer and internal audits, CAPA resolution, and defect analysis
  • Develop training materials and support personnel certification programs
  • Collaborate with Engineering Manager and System Engineering Group on process improvements
  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in high-technology manufacturing
  • Semiconductor capital equipment or related industry experience (strongly preferred)
  • Knowledge of process development, scaling, and equipment design
  • Experience with SPC, CPK, and process control methodologies
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to design experiments and analyze process data
  • Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
