Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Coordinator to manage and optimize our inventory processes across multiple channels, including warehouse distribution, e-commerce, and retail management. The ideal candidate will leverage data analytics, demand planning, and supply chain expertise to ensure accurate inventory levels, streamline procurement, and improve overall materials management. This role requires proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, and warehouse management systems, along with strong skills in data visualization tools like Tableau and Power BI. The Inventory Coordinator will play a critical role in supporting order fulfillment, sourcing, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels using ERP systems (SAP, AS400) and warehouse management systems to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Conduct data collection and mining to identify trends, forecast demand, and support demand planning activities.
  • Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI to create reports that inform purchasing decisions and supply chain strategies.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams on sourcing strategies, negotiation efforts, and procurement processes to secure materials efficiently.
  • Manage warehouse distribution operations including order fulfillment, materials management, and coordination with 3PL providers.
  • Implement process improvements by analyzing supply chain workflows and recommending enhancements for efficiency gains.
  • Oversee inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconciliation activities.
  • Support e-commerce platforms by ensuring seamless integration of inventory data with online sales channels.
  • Operate forklifts when necessary for warehouse material handling while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain compliance with retail merchandising standards and coordinate with retail management teams to meet stock requirements.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supply chain management, demand planning, or inventory control within a warehouse or retail environment.
  • Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, or equivalent warehouse management systems.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes including sourcing negotiations and purchasing strategies.
  • Experience with materials management, order fulfillment, and warehouse distribution operations.
  • Ability to interpret complex data sets for actionable insights through data mining and analysis techniques.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining accurate inventory records.
  • Strong communication skills for cross-functional collaboration across procurement, logistics, and sales teams.
  • Physical ability to operate forklifts safely when required; relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or related field is preferred but not mandatory depending on experience.
