Landscape Laborer

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Laborer / Driver to join our team. This role involves hands-on landscape maintenance, installation, and related construction tasks, along with driving responsibilities to support our outdoor projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, a passion for outdoor work, and the ability to operate various tools and equipment. Prior experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or construction is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to develop skills in horticulture, hardscape installation, and equipment operation within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with landscape installation, maintenance, and repair projects including mowing, tree trimming, gardening, and irrigation setup
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and other landscaping equipment
• Perform lawn care tasks including mulching, trimming, and maintaining ornamental plants, shrubs, and trees
• Support hardscape projects involving stonework, pavers, or other outdoor structures
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work sites by adhering to safety protocols
• Drive company vehicles to transport tools, materials, and personnel to various job sites
• Assist with general construction tasks related to landscape projects and site preparation
• Support tree care activities including planting, trimming, and removal as required

Requirements

• Prior experience with landscaping, lawn care, or construction work is highly desirable
• Mechanical knowledge related to power tools and landscaping equipment is preferred
• Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery such as excavators effectively and safely
• Knowledge of horticulture principles, irrigation systems, gardening techniques, and hardscape installation is a plus
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required for driving responsibilities
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude towards safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to follow instructions carefully while maintaining attention to detail
