The Hannibal Central School District is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Substitute Teachers. We welcome applications from:

• Currently, NYS Certified Teachers in any certification area
• Individuals enrolled in coursework leading toward the teaching profession

Daily Rates:

• NYS Certified Teachers: $165.00 per day
• Non-Certified Teachers: $130.00 per day

Position Summary & Responsibilities:
Substitute teachers play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning and a positive classroom environment when the regular teacher is absent. Duties include:

• Following lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintaining an orderly, respectful, and positive classroom environment
• Engaging students in the planned activities and supporting their learning
• Monitoring student behavior and ensuring adherence to school rules and procedures
• Communicating any significant student concerns or classroom issues to school administration
• Performing other related duties as assigned by the building principal or designee
