Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure proper storage of clean items
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients when needed
• Support the catering team by ensuring all serving ware is clean and ready for events or banquet functions
• Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold safety standards and hygiene regulations
• Help with general cleaning duties around the kitchen area to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow during busy service times

Skills

• Strong understanding of food handling, safety, and sanitation standards
• Experience in bussing tables, food preparation, or catering environments is a plus
• Familiarity with restaurant or hotel kitchen operations enhances your effectiveness in this role
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
