The inside sales representative will build relationships with current and potential customers to establish trust and rapport; nurture leads with the goal of converting them to customers and managing referrals from existing customers. The inside sales representative will work with the Field Service Technician for their assigned customers requiring onsite service. The position will support the inside sales and Packaging leads shared mailboxes./ph3Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities/h3ulliClose sales and achieve annual inside sales budget./liliResponsible for doing and keeping up to date on phone calls/emails, contacts, and opportunities in the C4C CRM./liliResponsibility to increase system
parts penetration by promoting Top Products utilizing upselling strategies./liliResponsible for selling remotely: via phone, email, MS Teams, and other digital channels./liliCall customers to introduce new added value solutions./liliProvide part/system quotes to customers and prospect customers./liliInteract with the commercial sales team, customer service, technical service, and customers./liliMaintains detailed knowledge of Nordson Adhesive Packaging products, prices, policies, and procedures; knows which Nordson Adhesive Packaging products can be most advantageously used with all Adhesive Packaging applications./liliProvides basic technical assistance for all products to assigned customers. This includes part numbers, basic troubleshooting, and service support. Involve technical service team when request is deeply technical or complex./liliWork with the Field Service Technician for assigned customers requiring onsite service./liliManage the Packaging Leads mailbox./liliParticipate fully in product training sessions, meetings, skills training, and professional development classes./liliSupport and assist customer service when there is an influx of quotes from customers./liliOther duties as assigned./li/ulh3Education and Experience Requirements/h3ulliAssociate degree or equivalent experience is required. College degree is preferred./lili3-5 years of customer facing experience including but not limited to sales or customer service./liliPrior customer service/sales experience is a plus./liliExperience with Adhesive Dispensing Equipment and parts is preferred./liliExperience in industrial sales is preferred./liliExperience with SAP/C4C or other CRM contact management system is preferred./li/ulh3Skills and Abilities/h3ulliEffective communication with both internal and external customers at all levels./liliProficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Teams)./liliAbility to manage a continual flow of information on a regular basis./liliAbility to maintain a high level of professionalism while communicating with customers and sales./liliFlexibility and the desire to take on additional responsibilities./li/ulh3Working Conditions and Physical Demands/h3pTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
