Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Plumber to join our construction and maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plumbing systems, construction site experience, and mechanical knowledge. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in commercial and residential settings, ensuring compliance with safety standards and blueprints. The Plumber will work on diverse projects that may include remodeling, HVAC integration, and pipe threading, contributing to the successful completion of construction and renovation projects.

Duties

• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to execute plumbing layouts accurately
• Perform pipe threading, fitting, and assembly to ensure secure connections
• Conduct remodeling tasks involving plumbing components and related carpentry work
• Troubleshoot plumbing issues on construction sites or existing structures, applying mechanical knowledge
• Assist with HVAC system integration when required
• Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely on construction sites
• Utilize schematics for system installation and repairs in commercial or residential buildings
• Operate construction site machinery or vehicles as needed for project logistics
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment throughout all tasks

Skills

• Proven experience in construction plumbing and general construction site work
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and pipe threading techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately
• Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of HVAC systems and schematics interpretation
• Strong understanding of building codes, safety standards, and remodeling procedures
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex plumbing issues
• Physical strength for heavy lifting and working in physically demanding environments
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during installations or repairs
• Experience with carpentry, maintenance person tasks, or assembly work is a plus
• Valid commercial driver's license is advantageous for transporting materials or equipment
