Commercial Maintenance Technician

Job Summary

The Commercial Maintenance Technician provides hands-on maintenance and repair support across Birgo's commercial properties while assisting in-house trade teams on projects.
Approximately three days per week are dedicated to maintaining and improving Birgo's commercial assets, and the remaining two days per week support multifamily trade crews.

This role performs a wide range of work — from building systems and general repairs to assisting with trade projects and property upkeep. Responsibilities may include supporting
plumbing, electrical, roofing, or carpentry
work; performing
preventative maintenance
; assisting with
rehab
tasks; and maintaining
exterior cleanliness
, including occasional trash removal or debris pickup as needed to keep properties safe and presentable.

Pay and Benefits

• $25/hour

Requirements

• Well-rounded maintenance skills that match the job summary
• Eligible to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to properties as needed
• Personal, reliable mode of transportation
• Lift and carry 50 pounds without assistance
• Safely utilize power tools
• Work in confined spaces; ascend and descend ladders and staircases
