Elementary/Middle School Teacher

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated teacher to join our team. The teacher will

be responsible for creating a supportive learning environment, meeting

instructional goals, and

adhering to professional standards and school policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and implement instructional activities tailored to students' individual

needs

Utilize Reading Milestones and Fundations programs to support literacy

development

Establish a positive and respectful classroom environment, including

adherence to safety

and behavioral protocols

Evaluate student progress through assessments and work aligned with their

IEP goals

Collaborate with staff to enhance student learning and support IEP objectives

Integrate technology and electronic tools to enhance instruction

Participate in professional development and attend required meetings

Serve as a positive role model for students and staff

Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Valid New York State Teacher Certification

Experience working with students with disabilities is preferred

Knowledge of Reading Milestones and Fundations programs is required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Demonstrated integrity, ethical behavior, and commitment to student success

Starting Salary:

$52,288 - $72,056

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $52, $72,056.00 per year
