Duties

• Stock shelves accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are properly displayed and organized for easy customer access
• Assist customers with product inquiries, offering product demos when applicable to enhance their shopping experience
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting store environment by merchandising displays and managing stock levels
• Upsell products by recommending complementary items during checkout to increase sales opportunities
• Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries
• Support inventory management through stocking, labeling, and organizing merchandise in accordance with store standards

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key
• Strong communication skills, including bilingual abilities, are highly valued for connecting with diverse customers
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate register operations
• Demonstrated ability to supervise or assist team members in a fast-paced setting is a plus
• Knowledge of merchandising techniques and product demos enhances customer engagement
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and patience
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
