JOB SUMMARY

• This position will lead a team of direct reports including Order Processors and Forklift Operators to help ensure order fulfillment, picking accuracy, order checking and truck loading metrics are executed
• Oversee and implement onboarding job and safety training as well as ongoing training and safety check-ins
• Must embrace a culture of continuous improvement and effectively influence the attitudes and behavior of the team to work towards consistent excellence
• Must have a strong knowledge of the warehouse and the ability to successfully work in collaboration with numerous Operations associates.   

Requirements

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement 
• Motivate and develop the order processing team – including performance and employee relations 
• Respond, investigate and resolve safety questions and concerns 
• Ensure all associates are educated on safety and proper use of the equipment 
• Ensure all associates are trained properly in picking, stacking, and wrapping product 
• Ensure orders are checked & loaded onto the correct truck 
• Train new employees on VoicePick and EasyPick 
• Ensure all safety protocols are being followed 
• Routinely assess skills of order processing team and provide additional training as needed 

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS  

• Demonstrated leadership skills  
• Highly organized with ability to manage priorities and coordinate multiple projects 
• Two-plus years of warehouse experience preferred 

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Must be able to work in adverse weather conditions and wide temperature variations 
• Must be to work flexible hours through the week and, sometimes weekends 
• Week before and, during National Holidays are a must to work 
• Dress code is business casual; closed-toe shoes are suggested. Other restrictions may apply 
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. minimum, climb ladders while working safely 
• While performing the duties of this job, employee is required to stand; balance; walk; climb stairs, sit; use hands to feel and handle objects, tools, or controls, including standard office equipment such as computers and phones; reach with hands and arms; talk; hear; and have specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to focus
