Overview
Commercial Cleaning with Commonwealth is a locally owned and operated commercial cleaning company in Lexington, Ky. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a variety of commercial environments, ensuring that all areas meet our high standards of cleanliness, and interacting with many people on a daily basis on a professional representative of our company. This role requires a "people-person" with a strong work ethic, high levels of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. Reliable transportation is required.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.
• Dust, vacuum, mop, and sanitize surfaces to ensure a clean and safe environment.
• Dispose of waste and recyclables in accordance with company and/or policies.
• Restock supplies as needed and report any maintenance issues to management.
• Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals properly to ensure personal safety and the safety of others.
• Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any malfunctions.
• Uphold and embody company values when acting as a representative of Commercial Cleaning with Commonwealth.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and techniques is preferredbut not required ; training will be provided.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with team members and clients.
• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, squatting, or standing for extended periods.
