Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care.
• Engage warmly with customers, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and seating areas.
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and safety.
• Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions.
• Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is preferred; enthusiasm for coffee culture is a plus
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy periods effectively while maintaining quality service.
• Customer service skills with the ability to connect positively with diverse guests.
• Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation, and food handling standards.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations for sales transactions and retail math tasks accurately.
• Experience in retail or food industry roles involving serving, cashiering, or food handling is beneficial.
