Forklift Operator

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for loading or unloading boxes from trucks and assisting in common logistics and warehouse/production efforts. The purpose of which is to support warehouse/manufacturing/outbound logistics of various pre-manufactured products ensuring that all products meet company standards and customer satisfaction. This role requires attention to detail, technical proficiency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Operate Forklifts safely and accurately.
• Perform production manufacturing and warehouse duties according to specifications and safety guidelines.
• Utilize tools and equipment effectively, including the use of drills, measuring tape, manual pallet jacks, and other common tools for assembly/production purposes.
• Conduct thorough inspections of manufactured products to ensure quality and functionality.
• Prepare pallets of finished product and load trucks.
• Troubleshoot and resolve common issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Communicate effectively with your team and managers to meet client needs in a timely fashion

Requirements

• Proven experience as a forklift operator or in a similar forklift role is required.
• In-between Basic to High level Proficiency in using hand tools, measuring tools, manual pallet jacks, and common power tools.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Physical ability to walk, stand, utilize specialized hand tools, and lift up to 50lb frequently.
• Willingness to adhere to safety protocols and company policies.
