Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and improving residential or commercial properties to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-maintained. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing a broad skill set to address various maintenance needs. The Handyman will play a key role in enhancing property value and ensuring customer satisfaction through quality workmanship.

This job location will take place across North Jersey and some Manhattan areas.

Please have experience with door/window installation, faucet replacement, light fixture replacement, drywall installation, painting

Duties

• Perform general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall work
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as painting, flooring repairs, and appliance troubleshooting
• Identify issues within properties and recommend appropriate solutions
• Install fixtures, appliances, and hardware as needed
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Collaborate with clients or property managers to understand project requirements
• Ensure all work complies with safety standards and building codes
• Complete projects efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Handyman or in a similar maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry, and general repairs
• Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks
• Valid driver's license is preferred for travel between sites
• Strong communication skills and professionalism in client interactions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

This position is vital for maintaining the integrity of properties and ensuring client satisfaction through expert repairs and maintenance. We value candidates who are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering quality workmanship.

Pay: $50, $75,000.00 per year
