We're looking for our next Manager, Corporate FP&A. Could It Be You?
The Manager, FP&A is one of the architects and owners of Questbank's core financial planning and modeling infrastructure, responsible for the design, maintenance, and continuous development of models used for planning, forecasting, stress testing, scenario analysis and decision support.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, FP&A, the Manager, FP&A supports and manages Questbank's corporate financial modeling infrastructure and the maintenance and consolidation of complex financial frameworks. This role is central to the selection and implementation of a new planning platform, where you will bridge the gap between legacy data and modernized EPM/ERP solutions to streamline reporting across FP&A, Treasury, Controllership, and Capital Markets.
The role will manage financial stress testing and scenario modeling to evaluate balance sheet resilience and support ICAAP, providing the executive team with the quantitative insights necessary for risk mitigation. By integrating advanced financial KPIs into a consolidated management reporting suite, this position ensures that all stakeholders—from Risk to Compliance—base their strategic decisions on a robust, stress-tested, and technologically sound financial foundation.
The role collaborates with and supports the broader QFG FP&A team in support of consolidated reporting and financial modelling.

In this role, responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Budgeting & Forecasting: managing the annual budgeting and rolling forecast cycles, ensuring integration with the corporate planning calendar and liaising directly with QFG Corporate FP&A to ensure model and data consistency across the enterprise.
Balance Sheet and Capital Planning: partnering with Treasury and Risk teams to support balance sheet optimization initiatives and forecast capital adequacy, leveraging modeling for regulatory stress tests (e.g., ICAAP-style or internal stress tests).
Financial Model Development and Governance: owning and continuously improving the Bank's financial planning and forecasting models, including the driver-based forecasting engine, to support strategic objectives and provide dynamic decision support. Ensuring adherence to model risk and governance policies.
Executive and Board Reporting: preparing and delivering high-quality, insightful monthly financial performance reports, board reports, and other corporate financial submissions, translating complex model output into clear business narratives.
Continuous Improvement and Finance Transformation: key participation in the development and implementation of the finance transformation roadmap, including selection and integration of an enterprise planning platform for banking.

Hold a degree or equivalent in Finance, Data Analysis, Computer Science or a related field
Hold a CPA or CFA designation (or working towards one)
Have 3+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a strong focus on advanced financial model development within the financial services industry
Are an expert in Excel and financial modeling software (e.g., VBA, SQL, or specialized financial modeling platforms like Anaplan, Oracle EPBCS/Hyperion Planning)
Are an expert in Financial Modeling & Architecture with proven ability to design, maintain, and govern complex, integrated financial models (driver-based, statistical, and valuation methodologies) to support strategic decision-making and stress testing
Have proven ability to deliver insightful financial analysis and management reporting, and conduct various financial modeling projects
Have a solid record in effectively partnering with senior business and corporate leaders (Product, Treasury, Distribution, Corporate FP&A) to drive planning, manage financial performance, and influence strategic outcomes
Possess strong communication skills and collaborate effectively with multiple levels of leadership, both verbally and in writing
Are pro-active and results-driven
Multitask and work well under pressure, maintain strong attention to detail and prioritize work within tight deadlines
Pursue continuous improvement in business processes for FP&A
Compensation Information:
Base salary range: $110,000 - $130,000
The final compensation package will be commensurate with the successful candidate's experience, skills, and geographic location (Canada). It includes a comprehensive benefits plan and a competitive incentive (bonus) program for Full-Time Permanent roles.
