We are seeking diligent and hardworking Warehouse Workers to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is fundamental to the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be involved in a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. Your primary goal will be to ensure efficient workflow and accurate inventory management. We emphasize a strong commitment to safety, and all employees are required to use provided PPE and follow established safety procedures meticulously. The ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent lifting and moving of goods, is essential. This position offers a great chance to gain experience in the fast-paced world of logistics. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick and pack orders accurately according to customer specifications.
- Load and unload trucks for outbound shipments.
- Maintain inventory levels and assist with cycle counts.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified).
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Perform manual lifting and material handling as needed.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve departmental goals.
- Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions immediately.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Willingness to work in a physically demanding role.
- Proficiency in using pallet jacks and other manual handling equipment.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility.
- Understanding of logistics processes.
- Commitment to wearing appropriate PPE and maintaining a safe work environment.
