We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our dynamic logistics team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this vital role, you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring the smooth flow of goods within our distribution center. Your primary duties will include verifying incoming inventory against purchase orders, inspecting goods for damage, operating forklifts and pallet jacks to move materials, and preparing shipments for departure. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment. You will be an integral part of our supply chain, contributing to the timely delivery of products to our customers. Success in this role depends on your ability to manage multiple tasks, work effectively under pressure, and adhere to all company policies and safety regulations. We are looking for individuals who are proactive, possess excellent communication skills, and are eager to learn and grow within the logistics industry. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and be comfortable with physical demands, including frequent Lifting and standing for extended periods. Attention to detail is paramount to ensure inventory accuracy and prevent errors. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of all shipments and updating the inventory management system. Adherence to all company safety protocols, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory to ensure a secure workplace.
