Our Dallas, Texas distribution center is looking for dedicated Distribution Center Associates to join our expanding logistics team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for the smooth and efficient processing of all goods within our facility, from arrival to departure. Your duties will include receiving, put-away, order picking, packing, and shipping. We operate in a demanding and fast-paced logistics environment, and maintaining high standards of safety and accuracy is our top priority. You will work with a variety of products and utilize specialized warehouse equipment. A strong commitment to teamwork, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving are essential. We ensure a safe workplace by providing thorough training on safety procedures and mandating the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.
- Efficiently stock products in designated warehouse locations.
- Pick and pack orders with precision based on customer requirements.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring all items are correctly labeled and packaged.
- Safely operate various warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Participate in inventory control processes, including cycle counting.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Comply with all company safety rules and regulations, including the use of PPE.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve operational goals.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to support distribution center functions.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is advantageous.
- Capacity for frequent Lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Familiarity with general logistics and warehouse management principles.
- A strong commitment to safety and accident prevention in the workplace.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a cooperative team member.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility regarding work schedule when necessary.
