Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control and accuracy.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
- Manage stock rotation (e.g., FIFO, FEFO) to minimize obsolescence.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
- Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain accurate stock levels.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment safely for inventory tasks.
- Maintain accurate records using inventory management software.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and WMS.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of PPE.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
