Job Summary:

Our San Antonio, Texas facility is seeking an Inventory Control Specialist to join our dedicated logistics team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our inventory data and physical stock. You will implement and maintain inventory control procedures, conduct regular audits, and manage stock rotation. Your efforts will directly impact operational efficiency, order fulfillment accuracy, and overall warehouse performance. Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of inventory control and accuracy.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
  • Implement and enforce inventory control procedures and best practices.
  • Manage stock rotation (e.g., FIFO, FEFO) to minimize obsolescence.
  • Analyze inventory data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure proper storage and organization of all inventory items.
  • Collaborate with warehouse and logistics teams to maintain accurate stock levels.
  • Operate forklifts and other equipment safely for inventory tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records using inventory management software.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the use of PPE.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as an Inventory Control Specialist or similar role.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and WMS.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Ability to perform moderate Lifting (up to 50 lbs) as needed.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and the use of PPE.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
