Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying against documentation.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using RF scanners and other technology.
- Stock merchandise in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space utilization.
- Load and unload delivery trucks and trailers.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock management.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics operations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily operational targets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse environment is preferred.
- Experience operating forklifts or other powered industrial equipment is a significant plus.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to procedures.
