Our Dallas, Texas facility is looking for a diligent Order Picker to become a vital part of our fulfillment team. As an Order Picker, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving products from inventory to fulfill customer orders. This role is essential for the efficiency of our **logistics** operations and requires a sharp eye for detail and a methodical approach. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to timely and accurate order processing. A strong commitment to **Safety** and adherence to all warehouse procedures are expected.
Responsibilities:
- Select specific items from designated warehouse locations based on order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities against order requirements.
- Use handheld scanners to track picked items and update inventory.
- Pack items carefully and ensure they are ready for shipment.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Assist with inventory control tasks and report any stock discrepancies.
- Operate pallet jacks and other manual lifting devices.
- Follow all **Safety** guidelines and wear appropriate **PPE**.
- Support other warehouse functions as directed, including **Lifting** and moving stock.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret pick lists and product labels accurately.
- Proficiency with warehouse technology such as RF scanners.
- Strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for **Lifting** up to 40 lbs throughout the shift.
- Understanding of **Safety** best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Knowledge of general **logistics** procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
