Seeking a skilled Material Handler for our state-of-the-art facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of materials throughout the warehouse, ensuring smooth operations and timely order fulfillment. This position requires a strong understanding of material handling procedures and a commitment to workplace safety. Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and store materials and products.
- Transport materials to and from storage areas, production areas, or loading docks.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and securing of goods.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through proper tracking and record-keeping.
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE, such as hard hats and safety shoes.
- Assist with shipping and receiving functions as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Proficiency in operating various material handling equipment.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 75 lbs) and work in physically demanding conditions.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and logistics operations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
