We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our distribution center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma! In this crucial role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting items from inventory and preparing them for shipment to our customers. This position demands a high level of accuracy, efficiency, and a commitment to Safety. You will work with a team to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly and on time, contributing directly to the success of our logistics operations. Proper handling and Lifting techniques are essential, as is the consistent use of required PPE.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Verify product codes and quantities before packing.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into shipping containers.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding area.
- Follow all Safety guidelines and company policies.
- Operate RF scanners and other warehouse technology.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks, including inventory counts and receiving, to support logistics.
- Participate in team efforts to achieve daily productivity goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous picking and packing experience is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Capable of performing moderate to heavy Lifting, up to 40 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Knowledge of Safety procedures and willingness to use PPE.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
