We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician for our advanced logistics facility in Dallas, Texas. This role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency and reliability of our warehouse equipment and infrastructure. The Warehouse Technician will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring all systems are functioning optimally. Safety is a top priority, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining equipment in a fast-paced logistics environment. This is a critical position that requires technical expertise and a proactive approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, including forklifts, conveyors, and automated systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on warehouse machinery.
- Conduct regular safety inspections of equipment and the facility to identify potential hazards.
- Maintain detailed records of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Ensure compliance with all Safety regulations and company policies.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Assist with installations and upgrades of warehouse equipment.
- Respond to equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and supplies for maintenance operations.
- Ensure all personnel follow proper Safety procedures and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED; technical certification or equivalent experience preferred. Proven experience as a maintenance technician, preferably in a warehouse or industrial setting. Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and control systems is a plus. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to perform heavy Lifting and work in various environmental conditions. Understanding of logistics and warehouse operations. This role requires a dedication to Safety and operational excellence.
