We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk to join our team in Raleigh, North Carolina. In this critical role, you will be responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our warehouse inventory. Your duties will include conducting regular cycle counts, performing physical inventory checks, and reconciling discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records. You will assist in organizing stock, ensuring proper placement and identification of items, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our logistics operations. A strong understanding of inventory control principles and meticulous record-keeping skills are essential. This position requires a commitment to safety, including the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and adherence to all warehouse safety guidelines. The role involves some lifting and movement of inventory. Proficiency with inventory management software and computer systems is a plus. You will play a vital part in ensuring that our inventory data is precise, enabling effective decision-making and smooth operations. Responsibilities include:
- Conducting cycle counts and physical inventory audits
- Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies
- Maintaining accurate inventory records in the WMS
- Organizing and labeling inventory stock
- Assisting with receiving and put-away processes
- Monitoring stock levels and reporting low stock items
- Ensuring compliance with inventory control policies
- Supporting the logistics team with inventory-related tasks
