We are seeking energetic and reliable Distribution Center Associates to join our team in Baltimore, Maryland. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be involved in all aspects of warehouse management, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. Your dedication to accuracy and efficiency will ensure that our customers receive their orders in a timely manner. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments, verifying contents against documentation.
- Sort, organize, and place inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Accurately pick items for orders using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Pack products securely for shipment, ensuring they are protected from damage.
- Stage orders for loading and assist with the loading process.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in physical inventories to maintain stock accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Properly use all required PPE to ensure personal and team safety.
- Support the logistics department by performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory systems.
- Strong commitment to safety procedures and a willingness to follow all instructions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a team.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
- Ability to adapt to changing work demands in a fast-paced environment.
