Job Summary:
Are you looking for a dynamic role in the heart of Austin, Texas's logistics sector? We are hiring Picker/Packers to join our bustling warehouse operations. This position is essential for ensuring our customers receive their orders accurately and on time. As a Picker/Packer, you'll be responsible for the careful selection and packaging of a diverse range of products. Your day will involve navigating the warehouse, utilizing scanning technology to identify and retrieve items, and preparing them for shipment with precision. We emphasize a culture of safety and efficiency, providing you with the tools and training necessary to succeed. This role requires a keen eye for detail, the ability to work at a steady pace, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. You'll work closely with a supportive team to meet daily targets. Proper handling of goods and adherence to all logistics procedures are key. Comprehensive training on safety procedures, including the correct usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), will be provided. The ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting items up to 50 lbs regularly, is a core requirement for this position. Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately pick products from various warehouse locations using order lists or RF scanners.
  • Package items securely, ensuring product protection during transit.
  • Double-check orders for accuracy before packing and shipping.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
  • Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as directed.
  • Report any stock discrepancies or equipment issues to management promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily fulfillment goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in a similar role (e.g., order picking, packing) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency with RF scanning devices is a plus.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, and lift repeatedly.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Reliable transportation and attendance.
  • Must be comfortable working in a warehouse environment and adhering to safety standards.

Shift: Evening Shift, Sunday - Thursday
