We are looking for enthusiastic Picker/Packers to join our team in Richmond, Virginia. This role is integral to our fulfillment process, ensuring that orders are accurately and efficiently assembled for shipment. As a Picker/Packer, you will utilize RF scanners and other equipment to locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves, accurately package them for shipment, and prepare them for dispatch. Your attention to detail and speed will directly impact customer satisfaction and the overall success of our Logistics operations. We emphasize a strong commitment to workplace Safety and provide all necessary PPE to ensure a secure working environment. Regular Lifting is a key component of this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick orders from designated locations using an RF scanner or pick list.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and efficiently for shipment, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for carrier pickup.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse cleanliness.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures, including the correct use of PPE .
- Meet or exceed established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed, such as cycle counting.
- Perform general warehouse duties and support team members as required.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform frequent Lifting of items up to 30 lbs.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in picking and packing or general warehouse work is beneficial.
- Familiarity with RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Commitment to workplace Safety and proper use of PPE .
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and moderate Lifting .
- Willingness to contribute to the smooth operation of our Logistics department.
