Engineering Program Manager Responsibilities
  • Work at the cross-section between program delivery and business strategy, partnering closely with Engineering, Product, and other cross-functional teams.
  • Drive impact, deliver measurable results across a wide range of areas, define and guide programs, deliver high-level goals, monitor and communicate progress, and define new programs.
  • Influence program delivery and lead execution in product areas such as Ads & Business Products, Commerce Platform, Integrity, and Privacy with a focus on Meta Products.
  • Develop framework to execute delivery of a program with the right level of process.
  • Work cross-functionally to develop best practices in a changing and dynamic environment to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Coordinate and contribute to engineering deliverables, including specifications and test plans.
  • Plan and execute a tiered migration strategy affecting multiple stakeholders.
  • Ensure program documents are complete, current, and available for staff leadership review.
  • Manage complex business problems in terms of people, processes, and technology to enable Organization and/or Team priorities and deliver best-in-class partner experience.
  • Develop schedules, identify paths and bottlenecks, and maintain execution throughout the duration of partner programs.
  • Manage communication within and between business leaders across business and technology groups.
  • Plan scope and feature set of groups with engineering partners and own the outcomes by being the face of the program or programs managed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Requires a Master's degree (or foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Applied Sciences, Business Administration (MBA), or related field and 36 months of experience in the job offered or in a software product or program management related occupation
  • Requires three years of experience in the following:
  • 1. Delivering software products or enterprise technical programs from inception to delivery
  • 2. Knowledge of user needs, gathering requirements, and defining scope
  • 3. Working with and advising technical product teams including capturing concepts and communicating them back to stakeholders
  • 4. Analytical and problem-solving experience with large-scale systems
  • 5. Establishing work relationships across multi-disciplinary teams and multiple partners in different time zones
  • 6. Strategic direction to large and complex programs/projects
  • 7. Ability to develop project schedules to manage large XFN programs/projects
  • 8. Knowledge and application of the software development process
