*Responsibilities*
* Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to each client’s needs, including deep tissue massage and trigger point therapy.
* Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand individual health concerns and develop effective treatment plans.
* Apply advanced techniques such as trigger point therapy and deep tissue massage to target chronic pain, muscle tension, and injury recovery.
* Educate clients on physiologic responses to massage, explaining how treatments support pain management and overall health.
* Maintain detailed records of each session, including patient progress, treatment details, and relevant medical terminology.
* Ensure a safe and hygienic environment by adhering to occupational health standards and proper sanitation protocols.
* Provide exceptional customer service by listening attentively, addressing questions, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere.
*Requirements*
* Valid massage therapy license or certification in accordance with local regulations.
* Experience in spa settings or similar environments with a focus on patient care.
* Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to musculoskeletal health.
* Skilled in various massage techniques including deep tissue massage, swedish, and other therapeutic modalities.
* Excellent patient service skills with the ability to assess individual needs accurately.
* Understanding of occupational health practices to maintain safety standards during treatments.
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients about treatment plans and expected outcomes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
