Join our dynamic warehouse operations in Raleigh, North Carolina, as an Order Picker. This vital role is responsible for accurately and efficiently gathering items from our warehouse to fulfill customer orders. You will use scanning technology and follow pick lists to locate and retrieve products, ensuring that each order is complete and correct. Precision and speed are key in this position, as you contribute directly to the timely dispatch of goods and the satisfaction of our customers. Your attention to detail will be crucial in minimizing errors and maintaining high inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order requirements.
- Utilize RF scanners and pick lists to locate products efficiently.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Ensure items are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Transport picked items to the packing or staging area.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods, as well as frequent lifting. Familiarity with warehouse equipment and a basic understanding of logistics is beneficial.
