Join our team as a skilled Forklift Operator in our state-of-the-art facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. This role is essential for maintaining the flow of goods throughout our warehouse, ensuring efficient movement of materials from receiving to storage and dispatch. The ideal candidate will possess a valid forklift certification, a strong safety record, and the ability to operate various types of forklifts with precision and care. You will be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, moving products within the warehouse, and assisting with inventory management. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move, stack, load, and unload materials.
- Transport goods from receiving to storage areas and from storage to shipping docks.
- Perform pre-operation checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by properly documenting movements of goods.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and company policies regarding forklift operation and warehouse safety.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring clear aisles and work areas.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse associates and supervisors to meet operational demands.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift operator certification and a clean driving record.
- Proficiency in operating sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of warehouse safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of logistics and inventory control principles.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.
- Must be able to wear required PPE, such as safety shoes and vests.
- Must be willing to undergo background checks and drug screenings.
