We are looking for skilled Forklift Operators to join our busy logistics hub in San Antonio, Texas. As a Forklift Operator, you will play a critical role in the efficient movement of goods within our warehouse. Your primary responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload trucks, move materials to and from storage areas, and assist with order fulfillment. Safety is our top priority, and we require all operators to adhere to strict safety guidelines and consistently use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent lifting of items up to 50 pounds, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing of loads.
- Transport materials to and from production areas, storage locations, and shipping docks.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment to ensure safety and operational readiness.
- Assist with inventory management, including put-away and retrieval of stock.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with warehouse team members to ensure smooth operations.
- Support overall logistics and operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of safe forklift operation and warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to perform frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE.
