We are seeking energetic and reliable Picker/Packers to join our team in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is fundamental to our **logistics** operations, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and dispatched efficiently. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for locating items in our warehouse, accurately selecting them based on order details, and then securely packing them for shipment. Your attention to detail will be crucial in minimizing errors and ensuring customer satisfaction. We prioritize a safe working environment, and all team members are expected to strictly follow **safety** procedures, wear required **PPE**, and practice safe **lifting** techniques. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick specified items from warehouse shelves according to order tickets.
- Inspect products for quality and damage before packing.
- Pack items securely using appropriate materials, ensuring protection during transit.
- Apply correct shipping labels and documentation to packages.
- Utilize scanning equipment to track inventory and order fulfillment.
- Maintain high standards of picking and packing accuracy and efficiency.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock organization.
- Adhere to all **safety** rules and **PPE** requirements.
- Keep the workstation clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Contribute to the smooth operation of our **logistics** processes.
- Perform safe **lifting** of boxes and products as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking/packing role is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret order forms and product information.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for prolonged periods.
- Capability of **lifting** up to 35 lbs repeatedly.
- Knowledge of and compliance with warehouse **safety** regulations and **PPE** usage.
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to work quality.
- Basic understanding of warehouse **logistics** is a plus.
