We are seeking a skilled Material Handler to join our logistics operations in Sacramento, California. In this role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, organization, and storage of materials within our warehouse. Your duties will include operating various material handling equipment, loading and unloading shipments, and ensuring inventory accuracy. This position is critical to maintaining the smooth flow of our supply chain and requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes and Safety protocols. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of storage areas.
- Adhere to all Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Ability to perform manual Lifting and handling of materials up to 60 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures and logistics best practices.
- Certification on specific equipment may be required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of Safety.
- Must utilize all provided PPE.
